From a local cable channel to fiber
Udupi Fast Net grew out of the cable TV networks that served Udupi district.
More than 20 years in cable TV, and more than 5 years providing internet. 15,000+ cable customers and 10,000+ internet customers today.
Our story
Local cable TV
We began in the cable business in Udupi district, running a local cable TV movie channel. We then started Requestv, a video-on-demand channel.
Four networks become one
Four different networks were operating in Udupi district. They merged to form a new company, UFN Network. The Suratkal, Kundapur and Byndoor networks later merged in too.
Our own internet network
The company then started its own internet network, with optical fiber and coaxial cable. Today that means FTTH broadband, high-speed bandwidth and leased lines for homes and business complexes.
Today
15,000+ customers take our cable TV and 10,000+ use our internet, connected through local operators across Udupi district, Coastal Karnataka, Shimoga and Bhadravathi.
